Hey :)

My name is Felix (Qiqing) Yu (he/him). I’m a student, illustrator, designer, and artist currently living in Boston, MA, pursuing a BA in Clinical Psychology & Child Development, and a BFA in Studio Art at Tufts University 🐘.

My work blends graphic arts, printmaking, and textiles to explore my relationship with the world, the superego, the ego, and the id. I endeavour to create visual expressions that offer warmth and love.

I experiment with illustration, printmaking, soft sculpture, graphic design, and digital media to capture the shape of cuteness. Childlike imagery and progressive proof of colour appear in my work, serving as tools to evoke visual comfort and emotional connection.

My liberal arts education at Tufts has enabled me to explore and critically examine the concepts of human development, psychology, medicine, gender, society, and healing.

I’m working on both commissioned and personal projects for Tufts Observer and a Story-Walk installation at Hillfield Strathallan College.

I’m committed to healing the world, with love.
